At the fag-end of 2010, I walked from Heathrow Airport to my family home in Oxfordshire. In the snow, across fields. In the dark, alone. I don’t think I’ve ever done anything so simple and so magical. It taught me that everywhere is connected and that all it takes is a succession of tiny actions to bring there to here.
